Protected: awesome 24 hours
Reservist. ICT at KINS. From 23rd sept to 19 oct. How many days is that? Don’t ask me, I didn’t count. It just seems like a long time anyway.
Tomorrow is the day when the troopers come into camp. I’m already in camp to make sure everything goes smoothly. Everything seems prepared already but as always, expect the unexpected. Sleeping in a bunk isn’t new to me but it sure was a long time ago since I stayed in a bunk, communal living at its best.
To be honest, I’m not 100% mentally prepared for tomorrow but I guess I’ll just have to suck it up and go along with the ride. I think I’ll enjoy it.
Goodnight! And wish me luck!
Someone stole my pair of Santa Barbara leather formal shoes on the first day of raya while I was visiting. FML
It was time to make a decision on whether I would be staying at gogreen or not since I was going to reservist and I had already made up my mind that I’m staying in this job just to receive pay during my reservist. Now that reservist is starting soon, I have to decide just about when I’m gonna stop working.
I believe I have decided to stop working by the end of october. So maybe another week of work after that and I am done. I need to find another job soon. I think I’ll need to find another full time job soon since I’ll be doing part time school (I believe) soon at PSB. The original plan is to take chemistry there. If I can’t get a place there, then I’ll consider another place and another course.
Wonder what office job could be fun.
Sometimes its just not worth being nice to people.
I was at a hawker centre buying food for my colleagues. I ordered at a malay stall. I also ordered other things at a few other stalls. As I headed back to the workplace, I forgot to take the food from the malay stall. As I made my way back and reached the malay stall, the pakcik, upon realising it was me who ordered just now and didn’t take the food, raised his hand at me and said “Alamak dia nii”. Apparently he had already released the order to another person.
You do not do that to your own customer, even if that kind of a mistake has been made. I am a paying customer and he should be thankful that I am still patronising him.
But sadly, I will be his patron, no more.
Fool.
