this past weekend has been one of the most packed weekend that i’ve had so far…let me tell you what i did…friday i had work…supposed to end at 5.30 but turned out that i ended at 7.40 since i had to finish the roster and the authorization and stuff since i’ll be taking on a new post called OC Security. once i was done with that i had to rush to hafiz’s house to drop off some clothing for the next day’s chalet…but i dropped off the clothes cuz i didnt wanna carry anything cuz i would be going out that night…saturday was wenshen’s birthday…HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY WENSHEN…you young boy you…lol. so we went out on the friday night to celebrate wenshen’s birthday…it was an okay night…we met up early to hang out a bit first before heading to MOS. it was a promotional night since we only paid $6 to enter…but i guess most of the guys out there also knew of the promotion…yeah you know what i mean…the ratio of guys to gals is…about 8 to 1. but still, we were there to celebrate wenshen’s birthday so we just had fun us guys going crazy…or at least i was…hahah…a bit too stiff la you all…must relax! we left that place at around 3.30…quite early if you ask me…even if we wanted to take the night rider, we could have waited till around 4.10 or something…the buses still come around that time…but..oh well…wenshen was tired anyway…
so then i took the bus with hariz…he went to yishun while i stopped at yio chu kang since i had arranged with hafiz to meet up…he would pick me up from his station and we headed to his house…he offered for me to stay over at his place for the morning before i headed back out…at around lunch on that sat. i had planned to meet didi for lunch at tekka market…she wants to eat chapati after work…plus i wanted to get my SEXY OAKLEY ‘CANTEEN’ SUNGLASSES. hahaha…they were going at corporate rates so they were WAY cheaper than the prices outside…so i grabbed on the opportunity to get them…just like the Zara hoodie jacket right fizah? hahaha…
so we met up for lunch at around 2…then got my sexy sunglasses…then we walked to bugis street cuz didi wanted to get another pair of black pants that she destroyed during the time she went to the incubus concert. saw some interesting things there…many little stuffs that i can buy…i got myself a small black bracelet which didi said looked like a hairband…and she said she could make herself…i wished she could have said it in a slightly buffered way cuz what she said made me feel like a fool for paying that $1 for that bracelet…but anyways.
got her stuff then went along towards bugis MRT…i needed to get to pasir ris to get to nash’s birthday chalet…HAPPY 21ST BIRTHDAY NASH!! so we went along bugis street and i got thirsty…so i wanted to get a drink…here’s an advice for all of you out there…if you wanna get a drink, get the $1 one…not the $1.20 one…i think its cheaper and better…the one nearing the outside is a rip off…i got myself a cup of pineapple juice and it tasted nothing like it…so then off we went to take the train to the east…i dropped off at pasir ris then took a bus to the chalet…quite out of the way…but ok la…reached there, chilled out, met up with the secondary school friends again, namely feeraz, hafiz, hakeem and birthday boy nash…plus nash’s gf’s friends and their friends….they’re linked somehow…havent got that part straightened out yet…but it was great…
we watched a bit of Good Luck Chuck then went off to make the BBQ towards the evening…i reached there at around 6 so the time was just right…we had a good time i must say, chilling out, eating the BBQ-ed food, more people coming over here and there sometimes…then played some fifa street on hakeem’s X-box that he brought along…stayed up really late playing it, then went to sleep around 6am…i think…slept till around 10 plus…then couldnt sleep anymore…so i got ready to go…was supposed to have deployment at 9am but luckily richard took over my place…that freed a lot of my time…
abah was having problems with his back because of the slipped disc which got worse after we moved…he was trying to fix my bed when he slipped it some more…then on sat he sneezed and i think it really hit a nerve…he went to alexandra hospital to get a check on it on sunday morning…the gave him painkillers but it didnt work…so they had to admit him… so i visited him for a bit before my hockey match on sunday night…first time i saw him on a hospital bed…he was okay but movement is a bit restricted due to his back…i could only see him for a while so…yeah. but i’m hoping and praying he’ll get better…and for the people out there who are reading this, please pray for an improvement in his health too…its very much appreciated…
then i had my match…played quite sluggishly since i had a long weekend filled with activities…but we still won 3-1…so its was pretty okay…then i was fetched by mum and sis and we went home together…felt good to get back home but it was a strange feeling knowing that you dad wasnt home and he was on a hospital bed somewhere…so then monday came…more work had to be done since the new posting i had…time kinda flew and when it was nearing time to go, i still had more work to do…damn. kinda freaky suddenly getting more work like that…so then i had another match on monday night, which just ended…i tried to play my 100% but my ball handling skills arent that great…made a few lousy passes and runs…even though i had so many chances…made me feel disappointed since i felt like i let the team down…
i really need to improve on my physical so i have decided to hit the gym during lunchtime…let’s see how disciplined i can be and lets see how far i’ll go…
so that concludes my very packed week and here is my birthday wish to the two buggers who celebrated their birthday last weekend.
TO WENSHEN: finally dude, you’re 19. sooner or later you’ll be hitting the 20s and you’re not gonna be a teen anymore…so enjoy the last days of your teenage years cuz when you look back, they’ll be the best years of your life…hmmm….but always hope there’ll be better times ahead…i wish you all the best in whatever you do and hope all your wishes come true…
TO NASHRUN: ade orang dah 21 laaaaa!!!! i’m looking at the time now and its 12.14AM on a tuesday, 15th April 2008. finally, you’re officially 21. i wish you all the best in the years ahead and i hope this 8 year old friendship will last way longer than we can hope for. words can only say so much…i hope you had fun during the BBQ and i’m looking forward to more great times…
its just sad that i didnt bring my camera along…dammit…forgot about that…
