i really have no idea what is gonna happen tomorrow but i sure hope that its gonna be a great last day of 2007…

but for now, about the little trip to batam. yup, i took a trip to batam on saturday with the family to get some time away from SG…and also to do some shopping and get some supplies…it was just a two day trip from sat morning to sun afternoon…i have been to batam before but never in the conscious part of my life…i was really small when i went there…well anyway, indonesia is indonesia, whichever part you go…(at least for the parts which i have been to…jakarta, bandung, tg. pinang, batam)…the people, the language, the weather, the road rules (or the lack of it), the beggars, the food, the old cars, the bargaining, the…everything. i just enjoyed the time away from SG and got a few things for myself, including some t-shirts. nice…just what i wanted…and guess how much the shirts were going for? yup…that’s the answer…$4 each. i bought 5. LOL! the food wasn’t that bad…the movies…hehe. we watched a movie there…it was saturday night. guess how much the movie ticket was? $4.50. Nice…the cinema quality was as good as GV or even better. ok so the place is quite new…about 2 years old…not bad eh?

talking about shopping…i’ve been getting quite a few things recently…my pay is being sucked up pretty fast…hmmm….and i saw this really nice biker-like jacket at giordano…i am so gonna get that to replace my jacket now…wooo….nice….

i wonder too….  

what an amazing night compared to last friday…well…not so amazing but compared to the last time i went zouk, it was way better…

i think zouk has prepared themselves better for surging crowds and they actually split the crowd who goes to the main arena and the ones who are going to phuture…what happened just now was that when we got there, phuture was full house…but since i had the citibank card, i had the privileges…so i could go in both phuture and zouk…but the rest of the friends couldnt…sad. cuz phuture was WAY better than zouk…mambo night…it was SO packed there and SO empty at phuture…haiz. wish we had gone a bit earlier to go to phuture…cuz phuture was full house by then…

sab told me she wasn’t going to go to zouk so i didnt expect her there…but when i reached, not only her came strolling in, she came with the gang…the twins and carmen too…wow. i was really surprised…but a pleasant surprise cuz more friends meant more fun… thank goodness WS didnt go in drunk like the last time…hahaha…but some of them were already high when we went in…we all know who they are…did some crazy things when they were high…LOL! it was the first time at mambo for me and i must say…it wasn’t really great…the songs were…not to my liking…but since that was all i could have, i tried to make the best out of it…

so going into zouk was free…then came the time to go home…some of us hung out outside for a while and chit chatted a bit till late…by the time i wanted to go home, the last bus for the night rider already went…dammit. and only comfort cabs accepted nets…dammit…i had to find the bloody ATM before i could get on a ride to go home…dammit…luckily there was one not very far away…sheesh…i learnt my lesson. now i know what time the last bus is…lol.

i had a blast earlier in the day too…was supposed to go shopping with my sister in town…we ended up going to jb…me, my sis and my mum…dad had work to do so he stayed behind…in the end, i bought more things than my sis…LOL! i did the shopping instead of her…hahaha…now i have nice new clothes to wear…wooohoooo!! it was all discounted too! up to 70%! good good…must go again soon…hahahhaa…

ok i should be sleeping now…

P.S. Thanks for the surprise attendance sab…you made the outing way better… and thanks for the late night conversation too…i had a blast…
